***New Release*** Elude, by Rachel Van Dyken + #giveaway

The sixth book in the internationally bestselling Eagle
Elite Series.
*Interconnected Stand Alone*

Twenty-Four hours before we were to be married--I offered to
shoot her.
Ten hours before our wedding--I made a mockery of her dying
wish.
Five hours before we were going to say our vows--I promised
I'd never love her.
One hour before I said I do--I vowed I'd never shed a tear
over her death.
But the minute we were pronounced man and wife--I knew.
I'd only use my gun to protect her.
I'd give my life for hers.
I'd cry.
And I would, most definitely, lose my heart, to a dying
girl---a girl who by all accounts should have never been mine in the first
place.
I always believed the mafia would be my end game--where I'd
lose my heart, while it claimed my soul. I could have never imagined. It would
be my redemption.
Or the beginning of something beautiful.
The beginning of her.
The end of us.

***Cover Reveal*** Sins of a Bad Boy, by Soraya Naomi

Blurb Sins of a Bad Boy by Soraya Naomi

William Kade was a renowned fighter who fought hard and played dirty. He titillated all women and was rejected by none – he was an Original Bad Boy.
An orphan who came from nothing, William became a ruthless businessman who desired to build an empire from a gaming club and an illegal fight club with his best friend and mentor, Charles Lindon.
But when profits declined, Charles and William ventured into a new world and decided to open the first hardcore sex club in the U.S. More money was needed to expand their business; however, when debts of the gambling club weren’t being paid, they were forced to take drastic measures to secure a steady cash flow. Drastic measures that involved Ivy, a woman William already had unfinished business with. A woman that might be the only female that equally annoyed and intrigued him.
When William and Ivy start to play a game, the stakes become higher with each passing day until no one can find a sane way out anymore.

No one feels the depth of your pain, only your own heart.

A dark, erotic historical romance.
Book one of The Original Bad Boys series. All books in this series are standalones and can be read in random order.

From Soraya Naomi, Amazon Bestselling Author of the Mafia Romance, Chicago Syndicate series.

Excerpt
“I’m going to wash up,” William said as a servant took hold of Charles’s hat and cane.
“Down the hall, to your left, William,” Rutherford told him, then he turned to Charles, and they walked off to the front parlor.
William passed a few guests and dipped his chin in greeting before rounding the corner to the washroom. He came to a sudden stop when he heard a soft moan coming from a room to his right. The door was slightly ajar, and he tilted his head to peek inside. A smile tugged at his lips as he witnessed a woman in a lover’s embrace. The man’s large hands roamed over her sapphire skirt, down to her luscious ass while she whimpered softly. In turn, her hands found their way into his pockets. The man was murmuring to her, and she let out a low laugh. She had stunning curls in a reddish-brown color that flowed down her back as she arched into the passionate hold.
William knew his rectitude of conduct was considered debased and immoral, but all these people lived the same way; they just all did it in secret. Typical upper class behavior.
When he felt a presence creeping up behind him, he swiveled around just in time to confront the person. He caught a wrist and pressed Anne with her back against the opposite wall, quickly covering her mouth with his hand to prevent her from making a sound. Her eyes widened, but he could feel she was smiling when he pushed his leg between hers. He raised one eyebrow and put a finger to his lips, warning her to be quiet.
His thoughts were consumed by the lady in another man’s arms, who was now whispering something. Her voice held a smoky edge that made William wonder about her face, about who she was.
Anne started to wiggle against him, and William realized he practically forgot the woman he had up against the wall. Removing his hand, he softly stated, “There are people in there; let’s give them some privacy.”
He desperately wanted to avoid speaking with Anne because she was either going to come on to him again or pick a fight about the way he treated her after they had sex earlier in the day. He also didn’t need her mother catching them since he had fucked Mrs. Rutherford a couple of years ago. So he hurriedly released Anne and strode to the front parlor while ignoring her plea to stay and talk for a minute. He wasn’t worried in the least that she would discuss any of her afternoon activities with her father or other family members since nineteen year old Anne was supposed to be a shy, rule-abiding society girl. But Anne was always looking for sexual pleasure, and she got it from different guys at the fight club. Today was the one time William finally let her into his bed, and he regretted it since she wasn’t very memorable.
Entering the parlor, he sought out Charles, who was already seated next to Rutherford.
The entire meal, William was ignoring Anne and looking for a woman in a sapphire dress and auburn curls to walk in, but she never came. Just when he decided that she was probably still with the man in that room, the man crossed the threshold, looking decidedly unpleased – without her trailing behind him. A crease formed in William’s forehead because he couldn’t imagine where that particular guest would be during the dinner. Nonetheless, he tried to focus on the conversation around him.
After dinner, the men retreated to another room to smoke, which was apparently a British tradition, but William wasn’t one to put up with traditions and neither were some other Americans, so they joined the women in the ballroom where a huge chandelier hung in the middle of the ceiling, illuminating the entire dance floor.
William snagged a glass of champagne from a passing footman's tray and downed it in one gulp in time to deposit it on another, replacing it with a second drink. A smirk flitted across his face when he spotted the woman in the far corner. It must be her with those curls flowing magnificently to her lower back, the tips ending right above her ass – an ass he could sink his teeth into. Why he needed to see her face, he didn’t know or particularly care. Moving toward her, he noticed how she kept quiet and just observed the men around her.
And when she turned her head, William stopped dead in his tracks. Standing under the light of the chandelier, he saw that her hair had a deep reddish glow, a color he had certainly not seen before. She was quite young, not yet a woman. Her skin seemed so soft to the touch. And her face was one he was most likely never to forget. Her eyes were a vibrant blue and magnificently huge, made even more remarkable because of her reddish-brown, thick curls. Her high cheekbones and deliciously plump, pink lips caught his attention next. The lady had an air of innocence and arrogance that had his cock twitching in his pants. She was perusing the room with a perceptive expression and passed William, then she stopped and slowly looked back at him.
He kept his stare locked on her face. There was something familiar in her features.
Her eyes widened a touch when he started to move toward her little group.
“Gentlemen.” He shook hands and smiled at her – she didn’t return the favor.
They all greeted him and relayed him with questions about the gaming club. William answered them while stealing glances at the girl, who was starting to look for an escape.
Did she know William saw her and her lover in the room?
What really bothered him was why no one had introduced her to him.
When a heated political discussion regarding liquor ignited, William took his opportunity to talk to her.
She was standing right across from him now. She was neither short nor tall, but somewhere roughly in the middle. And she had a small dusting of freckles on her nose.
“I believe we haven’t been introduced, Miss…”
She arced a perfectly plucked brow but kept silent, leaving William at a loss for words – for the first time ever. She definitely knew he’d caught her in a lover’s embrace.
As he leisurely examined her, he realized she was indeed young and made a considerable effort to look older with makeup and a revealing, low cut dress, the swell of her small breasts absolutely enthralling to him. He took a sip of his drink and kept gawking at her over the rim of his glass since he was enjoying how uncomfortable his attention was making her.
“Stop staring at me,” she hissed, low enough for only William to hear.
A corner of his mouth slowly rose. “Why so shy?”
She straightened her back and ran her fingers through her hair, that air of arrogance surrounding her still, and William thought that perhaps she was one of Anne’s juvenile friends.
“Where were you during dinner?” he wanted to know.
Her lips trembled, and she glanced around anxiously.
Rudely, she spun around to leave, but William stopped her by the elbow and released her instantly.
Then he slipped behind her, without touching, and leaned in close to her ear. “Off to another rendezvous?”
Her head turned, their lips almost touched, and she softly answered while gazing at his mouth, “No, we’re not all like you. At least I have the decency to find the privacy of a room.”
Finally, she admitted that she saw him too, probably when he had Anne pressed against the wall.
“Who are you?” he blurted, becoming slightly annoyed by her conceit.
She stepped away from him quickly and threw him a brash grin that he felt directly in his cock. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
William was completely perplexed by this young girl, and all he could think to ask was, “How old are you?”
A tremor of shock went through her, yet she didn’t utter a word.
He added on a whisper, “I’ll find out anyway who you are.”
Without acknowledging his statement, she paced away briskly while the other men were oblivious to what had just transpired between the two of them.
And William smiled at her retreating form, promising himself to find out who this smug woman was.

About Author Soraya Naomi
I was born in South America in 1984 and raised in Europe where I presently reside with my fiancé.
I read many genres but favor intense, dark, seductive, and provocative novels where the male character loves fiercely, without remorse or boundaries. I also adore forbidden love tales and have an odd fascination with kidnapping romances. No, I don't secretly want to be kidnapped, though!
I have a passionate obsession with the written word and indulge in chocolate pastries much too often.
My debut novel For Fallon (Chicago Syndicate, #1) was released on July 26, 2014. I’m honored that For Fallon won “Best Breakout Novel 2014” in the Novel Grounds Semi Annual Literary Awards.

Cadillac Payback Teaser

Exclusive Excerpt:

I listen to the thumping of the unmanaged highway and feel sweat slide down the small of my back. The polished leather seat is starting to get uncomfortable. Surely this surface has never itched so much against my skin, or made me feel like I was melting against its heat.

There's no sense to be talked to this girl. I can offer no condolences when the event that brought us here is bleeding my insides, too. Her brother was my best friend, my mentor. There's only one thing I can think to say to her, only one truth I never have spoken.

“Maria, I love you.”

Her foot moves like light as she slams it onto the break, throwing me against the giant dashboard before I can realize what she's doing. She whips the boat onto the side of the road like she's driving a Roadster and skids it to a complete stop, sending dust flying, and soliciting angry honks from trailing traffic. I have fleeting doubts that she even hears them.

“You what?” she asks hoarsely.

I take a deep breath and peel myself off the dash.

“I love you,” I say again.

I'm staring at the bugs crowding in on the headlights, like I would if I were studying the mysterious screen of a confessional. I don't want to see her face, with eyes that have glazed over like glass. The silence again blossoms, then spreads between us. The noise of the road seems so suddenly distant.

Moments pass. They fall like years. Only sudden, tiny sniffing sounds can pull my eyes toward her, the only sound that can unfailingly break my resolve. She's sitting so very still with her hands abandoned on the wheel, hands that are so capable, yet useless now. She's still staring forward, her eyes wide and momentarily empty. The glass has shattered. Tears have returned to her perfect cheeks. I am so useless in this situation that it hurts deep in my gut.

“No. Joshua. You don't,” she says to me. Her voice is low, wavering. Her arms might be shaking a little. The steering wheel holds her steady.

I've never seen her this distraught. I sit back against the sticky car seat, and look toward the green at the edge of the headlights' reach, as if the night's obscurity can save me. I belatedly pull on my seatbelt, and I tell her, “I do. I just wanted you to know. In case we die.”

She punches the gas as fast as she cut it off moments ago. I feel my muscles spread a little over the seat's surface. My brain experiences the back of my skull. My stomach lurches as she swings the Caddy onto the black top, flinging roadside pebbles like water. We are out of sight before the dust can settle.

She says nothing else.

Hard to Let Go on Goodreads

EXCERPT:

Beckett was a wrung-out mess. He’d just spent the past hour talking to Emilie, and it was maybe more than he’d talked at one time in his whole life. He couldn’t exactly say he felt good, and maybe not even better, but he could say that he was a little proud of himself for facing his past. Didn’t matter that dealing with that shit was as comfortable as swallowing crushed glass, because choking it down was the only way he’d have a chance at a future.

At least, a future that he really, truly wanted.

One where he wasn’t alone. One where he wasn’t angry. One where he wasn’t wasting the time he might have left on this earth—time his seven fallen teammates no longer had.

Jogging down the stairs from the third-floor apartment, Beckett headed to the gym. No matter how trashed he felt, he had one more conversation that absolutely had to happen tonight.

With Nick. About Kat.

Beckett had seen the all-knowing looks on Marz’s and Jeremy’s faces when he and Kat joined the all-hands’ meeting earlier in the evening. If he didn’t go to Nick soon, the guy was going to learn about them some other way. And then the hell was going to be even worse to pay. And Beckett didn’t want that to happen. Not just because he didn’t want the hassle. But because he owed it to Nick—as his friend and his brother—to come clean.

Didn’t mean that his gut wasn’t all twisted up about whether Nick would think him good enough for his baby sister, though.

He reached the gym door, took a deep breath, and punched in the pass code. Man up, Murda. Right.

Inside, things were hopping, despite the fact that it was pushing eleven o’clock. Some Ravens were lifting weights. Others were shooting the shit around the table. And two guys were tossing a ball back and forth, driving Eileen crazy by bouncing it over her head. Easy was pounding out a fast pace on the treadmill. And, in the back corner, Nick, Marz, and Shane were poring over something on Marz’s desk.

Beckett had faced down terrorists who wanted nothing more than to take his life with their very hands, and he’d probably never been as nervous as he was right now. For fuck’s sake.

He moved into the room. About midway across he spied Cy peeking out from behind a weight machine. “You and me are gonna have a talk soon, too,” he said, pointing at the cat. A one-eyed blink was his only answer.

And then he was standing on the far side of Marz’s desk next to Shane, peering down at what the three men were examining.

Marz gave him a smile and tapped his finger against the pages. “Just going over all these instances when Merritt noted Kaine as having changed orders regarding counternarcotics missions.”

“Marz was right,” Nick said, looking up at him. “Some of these gave me a bad feeling in my gut at the time, because they seemed out of character for Merritt. He was never a last minute kinda guy. Every damn time he’s marked those changes as having been ordered by Kaine.”

Beckett nodded. And then his mouth acted without his brain’s permission. “I’d like to date your sister.”

Hard Ink Series Trailer:

About HARD TO LET GO:

Beckett Murda hates to dwell on the past. But his investigation into the ambush that killed half his Special Forces team and ended his Army career gives him little choice. Just when his team learns how powerful their enemies are, hard-ass Beckett encounters his biggest complication yet—a seductive, feisty Katherine Rixey.

A tough, stubborn prosecutor, Kat visits her brothers’ Hard Ink Tattoo shop following a bad break-up—and finds herself staring down the barrel of a stranger’s gun. Beckett is hard-bodied and sexy as hell, but he’s also the most infuriating man ever. Worse, Kat’s brothers are at war with the criminals her office is investigating. When Kat joins the fight, she lands straight in Beckett’s sights . . . and in his arms. Not to mention their enemies’ crosshairs.

Now Beckett and Kat must set aside their differences to work together, because the only thing sweeter than justice is finding love and never letting go.
