Don't miss a thing! I've got a Newsletter.

Hi!

It's been a while since I updated this blog. I'm quite busy these days with the first round of edit on Patch Up's sequel and writing a new NA Contemporary Romance, but it's no excuse.

Some of you asked me if I had a newsletter and I didn't at the time. I know how complicated it is to stay updated when you're following many authors, so now it's very easy! Sign up to receive my monthly newsletter and you won't miss a thing. :)

Above on my blog you can find the sign up form. It's very easy and it will make me happy. I might even send a scene from Duke's POV in the first newsletter to thank you.

Feel free to share, sign up and send me an email to tell me which scene from Duke's POV you'd love to read.

You know what to do!

Thank you for your help. <3

I've got some great news!

Hi Sweets!

While the blog tour for Patch Up is still going strong - don't forget to check out the stops, you can win some stuffs - I had an amazing surprise coming from my publisher. :)

I signed a contract for the sequel of Patch Up and for a companion novel that will be Kate and Derek's story!

I've got the biggest smile on my face and it won't leave. I really need to celebrate. That's the best news ever and I hope that my publisher and you won't be disappointed. No pressure!

So far, the release of Patch Up is amazing. The reviews are mostly raving, Patch Up was for a few days in the top 100 in the New Adult and College category on amazon.com and I received so many sweet and moving messages that I don't even know how I made it without being a blubbering mess. :)
I never thought it would be so great.

Now, keep an eye on my blog, twitter and facebook for more news. I can't wait to know more, but one thing is sure... You won't wait a year before the conclusion to Skye and Duke's story.

Hi!

First, I want to thank you for your support now that By My Side is available for Kindle and Nook. It means a lot that you bought and read it. It was the first novel I wrote and it's intimidating to share it with you, but now I can't wait to share with you some of my other stories like Patch Up (you can read the first chapter on my blog).

But that's not why I decided to update my blog! I've got some news about By My Side. Ready?

Soon, it'll be available in paperback and in audiobook! Yes! There'll be an audiobook of By My Side.

I still can't believe it but I can't wait. It'll be so weird to listen to someone reading it. I don't have any details right now but I should soon chose the person who will record it after I listened to some samples.
It's really exciting and I hope you'll be there for my next projects!

Writing a sequel is not easy. Not at all.

Hi!

While I just did a cover reveal - with the help of amazing people - for my novel By My Side, I've got many other projects I'm working on. One of which is entitled Patch Up, a new adult novel that is not exactly a romance as you can imagine first. I deeply care about this novel because the heavy subject the plot is centered on is important to me and I wanted to write something intense, emotional and moving. It was hard to write it and edit it but with the help of my beta readers, I can be proud of it.

But here is the thing. When I wrote Patch Up I had in mind a stand alone book with many possibilities for a companion novel, but I never really entertained the idea of a sequel. And yet, here I am, writing a sequel for Skye and Duke's story. This time the tone is a little different because the story evolved along with the characters' lives and the romance is going to be way more present.

Don't get me wrong, if I started writing this sequel it's because I have tons of ideas to make it interesting and because my characters still have things to share. Though, it's way more difficult for me to write this sequel than it was to write Patch Up.

I think it's because I'm afraid it won't be as good as Patch Up is, because I'm wondering if I'm over doing it after everything Skye and Duke went through, and I'm also wondering if their romance is going to be that interesting for the readers after how they managed to be where they are at the end of Patch Up. Yes, I'm doubting and it's very common for me.

I never thought writing a sequel would be like this. I know Patch Up can be a stand alone novel but I don't want to say goodbye to my characters just yet. Maybe this sequel will never be published but I think I need this kind of closure writing it will bring me. It sounds weird, I know, but it is difficult to let go after you spent months deeply involved with your emotions, fears, doubts and hopes.

But right now, fingers crossed for the future of Patch Up.

If you're like me, having a difficult time writing your sequel, think about this...

By My Side: Cover Reveal + Blurb

Hi!

I can't believe I'm about to post the cover and blurb of the first novel I wrote and it is going to be available at the end of the month! It feels quite unreal right now.
Let me know what you think about the cover and if the blurb makes you want to read the novel. :)

Out 03/29/13

Blurb:
Lily Saunders sees her family falling apart. Her father is deserting her, and her mother is drinking more and more. Even sarcasm can't help Lily. When she thinks her best friend, Andy Green, will help her, she discovers how his blinding jealousy will mess everything up.

And then Gabe Green comes back home. She thinks it'll be like always between them—sarcasms and curses thrown at each other—but she's mistaken. He's different, and understands right away the problems she's trying to keep for herself.

But even if he's there for her, making her fall hard, they both know it'll end soon. Because at their age, you can't expect forever. Right?

Cover Reveal + excerpt: The Love Game by

Hi!

I don't know you but I can't wait to read this book. And the cover is gorgeous. Let me know what you think about it and if you want to read the new adult book of the lovely Emma Hart, don't forget to add it on your Goodreads to-read list!

Goodreads link: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17341522-the-love-game

Synopsis:

His challenge? Make her fall in love with him.
Her challenge? Play the player.
Until life changes the rules of the game.

Maddie Stevens hated Braden Carter on sight. Arrogant, egotistical, and the playboy of the University of California, Berkeley, he's everything her brother Pearce has taught her to despise. So why, when the girls challenge her to play the player, doesn't she say no? She doesn't know either.
Braden wanted fiery little Maddie the second he laid eyes on her - and he'd do anything to have her, hence why he's agreed to make her fall in love with him. After all, it's the only way he'll get what he wants. Sex.

But, as Braden discovers, there's more to the girl from Brooklyn than he ever imagined - and he can't help but care about the broken girl behind those pretty green eyes.

Maddie finds Braden isn't just a walking erection - he actually has feelings. He can be sweet, funny and his good looks don't exactly hurt. That means trouble - but when her brother Pearce turns up in Berkeley begging for her help, she realises Braden and Pearce aren't so alike anymore.
And maybe, just maybe, they're exactly what each other needs.

Excerpt:
He slides one of his arms around me and pulls me to him so my back is flush against his chest, both of our arms wrapping my stomach. “See? I've got you. It's fine, Angel.”
“This is crazy. Never again is Megan organizing a date.”
“Yeah, she got a good one with this.” He laughs again and I shake my head.
“No, no, she didn't. This is terrible.”
“Really? I would have thought that being up against me would be a good thing.”
“Maybe it would be if I could actually focus on the fact I'm pressed against your body.”
“Well, then.” He spins so he's in front of me, skating backwards.
“Braden, you can't see where we're going!”
“That's your job.”
“Oh my god.” I try looking over his shoulder but I can't. He's too tall, dammit. “You're too tall!”
“Then you just have to trust me.” His lips take mine in a searing kiss and I gasp inwardly, grabbing hold of him tightly. His hands find my waist and pull my hips against him, our speed slowing slightly. He goes to deepen the kiss, his tongue tracing between my lips, and I nip his bottom lip before I open to him. My fingers tangle in his hair as our tongues meet, starting an intricate dance of want.
For a second, I forget the game. I forget the fake relationship. I forget the fact I'm on roller-skates and Braden isn't-
“Oomph!” Braden grunts, hitting the floor. I laugh, rolling off him.
“I told you we didn't know where we were going!” I say through my laughter, blades of grass tickling my ears.
“Hey.” He rolls towards me, propping himself up on his elbow. His hair flops down towards my face, casting little shadows over us. “I totally knew where we were going until you distracted me.”
“I distracted you? Oh no, mister. You kissed me, not the other way around.”
“And I didn't hear any complaints about that.”
“Maybe that's because there weren't any.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“Then let's try again.”
