It's funny how nervous I always am when I have a new cover reveal or a teaser to share. It's without saying that I'm a nervous wreck when one of my books is about to be published, but I still have a few weeks to quietly turn batshit crazy. ;)

Today I'm happy to show you the cover of the first book in the Kinky Shine series. I hope you're as excited as I am (otherwise I'm going to end up crying over a pint of ice cream).

A few words regarding the Kinky Shine series...

Kinky Shine counts 4 books and each book features a different band member.
As of now, the first two books (Dex and Maxen) are written. Dex will be available May 3rd (it's currently with my editor) and Maxen should be available around June/July.
The other two books (Otis and Beckett) will be released between October and December.

I can't wait for you to meet these guys. I have an amazing time writing their stories.

New First Draft Finished!

That happened this morning! :D

Maxen, the second book in my rockstar romance series is now completed. It's only the first draft so it needs a lot more work, but it's still a huge step. I am thrilled and I can't wait for you to meet this sexy drummer.

But now, I'm going to take a few days off (but not really because I need to plot a new story to write in a few months) and then go back to my writing cave. It never stops!

When Other Characters Win the Battle...

You know, it's funny how sometimes you think you have a good handle on your characters, and all of a sudden, the characters from the book you're not supposed to write just yet intrude on your time with the characters you're writing the story of right now.

That's exactly what happened to me.

It's a battle I often have to fight and this time around...I'm not the winner!

The characters from the second book in my rockstar romance series won. I'm now writing Maxen and it's flowing a lot more than I ever thought possible.

I wasn't supposed to write Maxen before September, but it doesn't mess up with my publishing schedule. Good thing or else I'd be slapping myself after making a huge fuss of finally having a real publishing schedule set up until July 2016.

I'm usually very set on finishing the book I've started writing, but I think this time around it's a good thing I'm not being stubborn and I listen to Maxen's rough voice asking for me to write his story. What can I say, I can't resist these rockers. ;)

What does that mean?

Basically it doesn't change a thing for you and the books I've scheduled the release of. The only thing that changes is my writing schedule and while it bothers me a bit to leave these other characters for Maxen and his lady friend, I know I'll get back to them with a renewed enthusiasm which I think is imperative.

Sometimes it's important to fight back when other characters want their story written, but it's equally important to know when to bow and follow their lead.

This time around, Maxen is the winner, but in the grand picture I think I'm the winner considering I'm still writing my ass off. :D

Publishing Schedule ahead! Get ready to mark your calendar.

I'm working a lot these days and I can't tell you how excited I am when I think about all the books I will be publishing and all the books I have yet to write. My publishing schedule is full until July 2016 and while it's going to be a bit overwhelming for me, I'm also very eager to keep busy for the next few months.

I will have more news in September regarding the cover reveal date for We Shouldn't And Yet... I'm nervous because this is my first adult book and it is a lot sexier than my usual. But I LOVE these characters and I have the biggest crush on the male character. ;)
