Merry Christmas!

Like the pic above says...

Merry Christmas!

I hope you had a wonderful time with your family. I'm sure most of you received books or maybe even vouchers you're going to spend on books. ;)

As you probably know, I've been offline for a few weeks. Unfortunately, day life can be taxing and I had to focus a lot on things other than my writing and my author life. Also, I currently have the dreaded writer's block. I think it's stress induced and will go away as soon as I take the time to actually relax and think positively. Cross your fingers because it's pretty frustrating.

I have over 14,000 emails sitting in my inbox so it's going to take some time to sort out. If you're waiting for an answer from me, don't worry I will get back to you. I'm really sorry for this and I'm going to try and hopefully succeed in getting back online as I used to be.

I'm going to focus on editing and maybe publishing a few books because the good thing is I have books written sitting in my laptop so even though I'm not writing now, I have more stories for you to discover. :)

Author Bio:

We are two thirty-something females, living in Cornwall, England.

We both have full time jobs and manage to squeeze writing in around very busy lives.

Last year we joked about writing a book, and in December we actually started writing! On 12th March 2014 we pressed the ‘publish’ button and didn’t breathe for a whole several minutes!

We have now written four books, ‘Rocking Esme’, ‘Rocking Scarlett’, ‘Rocking Marcy’ and ‘Rocking Ashton’ and we also have a million other book ideas which we are dying to write!

When we first started writing, we didn’t tell anyone- not even our other halves! We decided to tell them about a month before publishing, then about a week before publishing we told our friends and family.

We both love reading, and since buying Kindles, reading has become much more of an obsession and we have both discovered authors we had never heard of. Some favourites are… Jennifer Foor, Aurora Rose Reynolds, Kirsty Moseley, Kelly Elliot, Terri Anne Browning, Diane Chamberlain… the list is endless!

Zane Excerpt
Zane’s here.
He’s standing with his back to the wall, arms folded over his broad chest, his slanted eyes on me, hot and intense. His Mohawk is tall as ever, and the silver studs in his ears and the hoops in his brow glint. I scan him from his exotic face to the faded black T-shirt stretched over his pecs, down to his ripped jeans, and I struggle for breath.
Gah. He’s too handsome to be real. Too handsome to be interested in me. And yet here he is, and I can’t miss the bulge on the front of his jeans. He’s obviously hard, and the realization makes me feel hot. The tips of my breasts tighten painfully.
What is it about this boy that makes me lose my train of thought? Deciding I want to break through his defenses is one thing—but what he does to my body even with one look should be illegal.
“You came,” I blurt, and instantly wish I had swallowed my tongue instead.
He cocks his head to the side, eyes heavy-lidded. “Almost,” he whispers, and oh God, the boy is sexy as hell. “You have an awesome voice. Never heard anything like it.”
My face flames. “Thanks.”
I step off the stage, and he grabs my hand, steadying me. His fingers are callused and warm, his grip like steel.
“Hey, Koko, you okay?” Luke calls out.
“Fine. Just need a moment backstage. Yeah?”
“Koko?” Zane arches a dark brow at me.
“Yeah, the guys call me that.”
“I prefer Dakota.”
God, me, too, especially when Zane is speaking it in his low, warm voice.
Besides… ‘Koko’ brings back too many bad memories. I’m not that girl anymore, the girl who trusted Collin with her life and almost died for it.
I head toward the small backstage room, and he doesn’t release my hand. He follows me inside and closes the door, then turns the lock.
Before I ask what he’s doing, he slams me back against the wall, his muscled body pinning me, so that I feel every defined ridge and plane of his chest. He’s breathing hard.
Speaking of hard… The rod of his erection is trapped sideways inside his jeans, and its heat seeps through the fabric, branding my flesh.
“What are you doing to me?” he breathes, his strong hand trailing down my neck and slipping the strap of my blouse off my shoulder. “What the hell are you doing to me?”
I should stop him, but his fingertips send electric shocks down my spine. He lowers his face toward me, and my lips part in anticipation. He’s going to kiss me, I think, as his breath brushes the corner of my mouth—but he doesn’t. He trails his mouth over my cheek, along my jaw, under my ear. The touch of his lips—hot and soft—tortures me, arousing me more and more, as he bares my shoulder, and draws patterns on my skin.
I struggle to swallow a moan, my nipples pressed against his chest, tiny pinpricks of pain and pleasure. His hand tangles in my hair, tipping my head back for better access, and his mouth brands my neck, sending electric discharges right into my core. Fire coils low inside of me.
Oh God, I think I’m about to come just from his lips on my neck and his fingertips on my shoulder. I have to do something to stop him. Stop myself.
I place my hands on his chest. “Ink me, Zane,” I whisper.
His mouth leaves my neck, and when he looks down at me, his eyes are so dark with need they seem black. His breathing is ragged. “Don’t.”
“I want it.” It’s more than a game now, more than familiar teasing. I need his touch so much it’s scary as hell. I’m throbbing everywhere, and I feel wet between my legs. This has never happened to me before. It’s as if the ground has been yanked from under my feet. It’s like freefall, and I hate falling.
“Tell me what you want.” He braces an arm on the wall by my head and licks his lips. He doesn’t kiss me. Why won’t he kiss me?
“You know what I want,” I say.
He leans closer again, his male musk scent surrounding me, and how can I think straight when my hands are on his rippling abs, his mouth is inches from mine, and his hardness keeps pressing into my belly?

Sexy, tattooed and inevitably dangerous. Memphis is all that and more…

I live for the pain; it’s what drives me to keep moving. But there comes a time when one has to push the demons aside in order to survive.

I thought I buried them deep. I thought I was ready to finally live. Until… my brother, Alex; he throws me into the fire—right into the place I could never control myself, the one place I never want to be again.

When I put my hands on people, they get hurt. Things happen that bring me back to that night. The one that will forever torment me.

I’m doing fine, keeping to myself in order to ensure no one gets hurt by me. Then along comes Lyric, and all I want to do is touch her, to put my hands in places that I know will only lead to her being crushed by me.

She’s the rush that I crave. The darkest of poison running through my veins, killing me bit by bit; like a drug I can’t get enough of even though I’m almost down to my last breath.

And being around her only hurts more, but what she doesn’t understand is that I welcome the pain; I get off on it, which in the end leaves me with the hardest decision of my life—one that might get us all killed…

“I thought I told you to stay upstairs? Dammit, Lyric.” His voice is thick and harsh as he fights to catch his breath.

I swallow as he grabs my camera and takes it off from around my neck, setting it down onto oh his dresser. My treacherous eyes wander down to his stiff chest and abs, landing directly on the V of muscle leading down to his jeans. The little moist patch of brown hair, almost causes my mouth to water as I think about what it leads to. It’s barely there, but is enough to catch my attention.

“I’m leaving,” I blurt out, unsure of how to act now that my resolve has crumbled. “I was coming to let you know. Now give me my camera so I can go.”

He walks forward until I’m backed up against the wall, with his arms pinning me in. He inhales a deep breath and leans down so that his lips are just inches above mine. Our bodies aren’t touching, yet my stupid body is reacting as if we are. My breathing picks up as I smell his minty breath mixed with hard liquor as it brushes against my lips.

“You like taking pictures of me, Lyric?” He presses his body a little closer, but still doesn’t touch me. Call me crazy, but my body is screaming for him to at this point. “I can take my clothes off right now and let you take as many pictures as you want as long as you promise to keep my jacket on. Is that what you want? Huh, Lyric? Because that is all I can do for you.”

I fight to catch my breath before I place my hands on his sweaty chest and push him away. He hasn’t even touched me and I am so damn turned on that I can’t fight the wetness forming between my legs. Just the thought of his sweaty, naked body is insanely hot. Him offering to show it to me… I can’t even go there. I just need to get out of here.

“Just because I like taking your picture, does not mean that I want to see you naked. It means that… just never mind. I don’t have to explain shit to you. I’m out of here.”

I walk past him and reach for my camera, replacing the cap.Get Off On The Pain

Get Off on The Pain Excerpt:

Once I get to the bottom of the steps, I look around the corner to see him standing shirtless and sweaty, with his back muscles flexing as he continues to beat the big black bag in front of him.
Each swing seems to pack more heat as he continues to work out his anger. I’ve never seen him shirtless and holy fucking shit; it has rendered me speechless just from his back alone.
Every single muscle in his back is defined and flexed as he steadily hits the bag in front of him stopping occasionally to wipe the sweat from his forehead. There’s also a huge tattoo that reaches across his back that says Never back down. Fight. And the O from the word “down” turns into a pink ribbon for breast cancer.
It causes my anger toward him to slowly fade and for me to be able to take in the beauty in front of me. He’s obviously had someone in his family battle breast cancer and seeing the ribbon on his back just proves how supportive he must have been. This is real beauty to me.
I find myself grabbing for my camera, pulling the lens cap off and snapping a few pictures of him from behind. With each move that he makes, the pictures only seem to become more stunning to me. I continue to snap a few shots until he freezes and grips the bag.
Wanting to capture his face, I snap a few shots as he turns around. The look on his face is both intense and damn sexy at the same time. He flexes his jaw and takes a few steps toward me, stopping a few feet in front of me. His icy eyes bore into mine, sweat running over his eyelids and down his strong facial features.
“I thought I told you to stay upstairs? Dammit, Lyric.” His voice is thick and harsh as he fights to catch his breath.
I swallow as he grabs my camera and takes it off from around my neck, setting it down onto oh his dresser. Two stories so deeply intertwined, you’ll think you know how they intersect…but you’ll be wrong….

Zack Martin
The day I met Emily Bennett my whole world changed. Sure, we were just kids, but I was old enough to know my life would never be the same. She was my best friend. My destiny. My fate. I wasn’t wrong…I just didn’t know how twisted fate could be.

Nikki Fallon
After the death of my mother, moving from my dark and dreary trailer park to sunny California, I was focused on one thing – finding a sister I’d only just learned existed. Falling in love with him wasn’t part of the plan. But he filled a void I never knew was possible to fill. He had to be my fate. My destiny. Until the day I finally found out who my sister was…and how twisted fate could be.

Excerpt
He looks up and I watch his eyes take me in.  Slowly.  They rake over me, dropping from my eyes to my glossed lips down to my exposed shoulders.  Taking his time, he follows the neckline of my simple, yet body contouring sundress, lingering when he reaches my full breasts.  I’m sufficiently covered, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t aware that the dress showed off my assets well.  Tight around my chest, gathering snuggly at the waist, with a scant amount of cleavage.  Just enough coverage to still leave something for him to imagine.  And I watch his face change as his imagination takes off running.
His eyes drift down my legs, tanned now from the eternal California sun.  Momentarily he’s lost in what he sees and doesn’t even notice I’m watching him leer.  Totally worth the extra effort getting ready tonight, I couldn’t be happier at the reaction I get.  Eventually, his eyes make their way back up to mine and I arch one eyebrow, letting him know he’s been caught.  A normal reaction might be to look embarrassed or perhaps even flustered a little.  But not Zack.  Instead, he flashes me a wicked grin.  “You look incredible.”  He’s the one doing the leering, yet I’m the one who ends up blushing.
